: एनटीडीवी पर सरकारी प्रतिबंध ने कई गम्‍भीर सवाल भी उठा दिये हैं जो जिनका समाधान अब अनिवार्य है : मुम्‍बई आतंकी हमले पर पहले ही कह चुकी है सुप्रीम कोर्ट : टीआरपी की पादशाही और देशभक्ति का प्रमाण पत्र बांटने वालों की भूमिका पर भी चर्चा अनिवार्य :

लखनऊ : तुम करो तो प्यार और हम करे तो …….(“रार” तक ही सोचिए.. आगे नहीं).जो गाँव में रहें हैं, अन्हार होने पे वो हुआँ – हुआं के शोर से परिचित होंगे. हुआँ – हुआं के शोर के बीच बस इस ओर या उस ओर न हो कर जानने वालों के लिए भारत में सबसे बड़े आतंकी हमले मुंबई की घटनाक्रम में भारतीय चैनलों की भूमिका पर सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की टिप्पणी “….The shots and visuals that were shown live by the TV channels could have also been shown after all the terrorists were neutralized and the security operations were over. But, in that case the TV programmes would not have had the same shrill, scintillating and chilling effect and would not have shot up the TRP ratings of the channels. It must, therefore, be held that by covering live the terrorists attack on Mumbai in the way it was done, the Indian TV channels were not serving any national interest or social cause. On the contrary they were acting in their own commercial interests putting the national security in jeopardy. It is in such extreme cases that the credibility of an institution is tested. The coverage of the Mumbai terror attack by the mainstream electronic media has done much harm to the argument that any regulatory mechanism for the media must only come from within.”

अरें हाँ, कुछ लोग ये कहते हैं की उस समय अर्नब गोस्वामी जी ने लगातार लगभग 100 घंटे अपने चैनल पे उस घटना की सबसे बड़ी लाइव कवेरज की और उसी के बाद अर्नव और उनका चैनल टी आर पी का बादशाह और देशभक्ति का सर्टिफिकेट देनेवाली संस्था बनी.रिपोर्टर को लाइव आपरेशन किस हद तक करना चाहिए के सवाल पे अपनी भूमिका को लेकर शब्दों में खेलते हुए अर्नव ने कहा था- “Clearly, if the media needed to be held back from reporting from certain locations, the security agencies needed to do that. For instance, there were camera teams right up to the lane which led to Chabad House and that was dangerous for the reporters as well. In retrospect you can always argue that perhaps the reporter shouldn’t have gone that far, but at that time they were doing their job.”
